Interchange PAIRs Kernel

The so-called "Interchange PAIRs Kernel" is the following three-turn move sequence, without any pairs being broken in the process. An example of this is shown on the right.

First turn
one face rotation
Second turn
,
This rotation layer should not only be as one of the left, but also rotated by a straight angle.

Third turn
Inverse of the first turn
,

If the above second turn is on the Z layer, it is called "Interchange Kernel on Z".

The position change of the edges on the Z layer is as one of the right.


Glue Move and Interchange PAIRs Move

Two pairs are in the same layer and their relative positions are as shown on the left, called "Parallel PAIR".


The pairs you want on the cube can all be pieced together by Parallel PAIRs that do not overlap each other, leaving only one PAIR at most. Choose one of the set of Parallel PAIRs that do not overlap each other to complete the aforementioned piecing together. Don't break any pairs you want.

The so-called "Glue Move" is a move that

  • do not break any previously chosen Parallel PAIRs.
  • do not rotate the layer when that layer don't have any pairs you want.

The so-called "Interchange PAIRs Move" is the following three-step move.

Step 1
Do a Glue Move so that two of the pairs you want can do Interchange PAIRs Kernel.
Step 2
Do the Interchange PAIRs Kernel of that two pairs in step 1.
Step 3
Do a Glue Move to make the Parallel PAIRs moved by the Glue Move in step 1 return to its initial position.

If the above step 2 is a Interchange Kernel on Z, it is called "Interchange Move on Z".
